I often go back through my work and see what I have done over the past while. It's always great to see all the wonderful couples and families I have worked with. There are so many great moments that's it is easy to forget.
So, I figured it would be a good time do a special post on my favourite wedding from the past year. Not only will this give me a chance to reflect but more importantly, it will give potential clients and idea of what they can expect from a typical wedding day with me.
Read MoreThis past Thursday I had a wonderful little portrait session with Christy, Dwayne and the rest of their family. Initially we were going to do an outdoor shoot but it ended up being a bit too cold. Although, we did manage to sneak a few outdoor photos in. Instead, we took advantage of the Art Building. It's amazing how many cool little spots you can find in one relatively small building.

Read MoreMy latest engagement session was a bit different in that it was split up into two different sessions. Heather and Jordan initially wanted to get some photos in the early morning at Hillcrest with the city lights in the background. So, the day of, we showed up at around 8:15 in the morning and took advantage of the darkness and the beautiful lights of the city. After about 20 minutes it started to pour rain so we had to cut it short.

Well, it ended up working out for the best because doing it during Christmas meant I got the chance to visit Dao and Keith's beautiful house. This session was definitely a little Christmas themed as we started the shoot right beside their huge tree while sitting on the winding stair case.
