Precious + AJ Family Session - Centennial Park
I decided to take advantage of this warmer winter weather with a mini session out at Centennial Park. AJ + Precious joined me for a mini session with their newest addition to the family. I hadn’t photographed them since their wedding over a year ago, so it was great to see them again, along with AJ’s parents!

Scott + Katherine Family Portraits - Thunder Bay Marina
It seems like forever since I last photographed Scott and Katherine so I was super excited to do a mini session with them at the marina a couple weeks ago. I also got to meet their newest addition to the family. Such a great time!
Nathan + Family Portraits - Centennial Conservatory
For my recent family session were did a mix of indoors and outdoors. The location of choice was the Centennial Conservatory, which is one of the nicest indoor spots in town. After capturing some photos with the beautiful backdrop inside, we finished off with some nice winter shots in the snow outside.

Shannon + Family Portraits - Centennial Park
It was a very snowy but extremely fun session this afternoon with Shannon and her family. It felt good to get out and capture some great moments with everyone!
Cheyanne + Jason Wedding - Fort William Historical Park
My last wedding of the year was definitely one to remember and a fitting end to a crazy and fun year. Cheyanne and Jason had their wedding at Fort William Historical Park, which, as I mentioned on many occasions, is one of the most beautiful locations in town.
My last wedding of the year was definitely one to remember and a fitting end to a crazy and fun year. Cheyanne and Jason had their wedding at Fort William Historical Park, which, as I mentioned on many occasions, is one of the most beautiful locations in town.
The ceremony, because of the season, took place inside. It was a very elegant set up, for an intimate group of people. It was a short and sweet. ceremony, but one filled with so much emotion. Soon after it was done, the entire wedding party made their way to the inside of the park.
Luckily the weather held up with a slight hail storm hitting us just as we were finishing up. It was more than enough time to get all the group and individual photos done. I of course made sure to snap a ton of candids in between. Cheyanne and Jason even brought some umbrellas that we had some fun with.
The reception was a blast! It was a laid back evening, but a fun one. The entrances were full of energy, the speeches offered a mix of laughs and tears. The first dances were so beautiful and of course, the dancing afterwards resulted in so many good photos.
I still can’t believe this wedding season is over. It was my busiest yet, and I simply can’t wait until next year.
Tiffany + Family Portraits - Tree Farm
My session today with Tiffany and her family was absolutely perfect on all levels. It wasn’t too cold out, large fluffy snowflakes were falling down, and Tiffany and everyone else, were a blast to photography. They all had endless energy and it really did show in every photo I took. It definitely made my job super easy.

I’m hoping the weather warms up a bit, as I’m super excited to once again start up doing some outdoor sessions.
Brooke + Brandon Wedding
Technically, I did photograph Brooke and Brandon’s wedding. I captured the hour after their wedding, at a friends home. Either way, I was so happy to be a part of their wedding day. Plus, I think I got the best of the day, where all the pressure was off and they could just relax and chill out with their closest family.

I only spent an hour with them, but in that short time, I was able to get lots of good photos. It helped that everyone was super comfortable in front of the camera. I really do love these small backyard gatherings. I hope I get many more of them in the new year.
Kim + Jeff Family Portraits
It wasn’t very long ago that I did Fall portraits with Kim and her family Fast forward to a few months later, and their mom wanted to get some family photos too. This time around, there was snow on the ground and also falling down majestically. It made for the perfect weather. I always love photographing Kim and her family, and this session was no different!

Chad + Family Portraits
My latest portrait session with Chad and his family took place on John Street Road at their home. It was a nice change to have a session at a family home, then one of the usual locations in town. We started inside their beautiful home for a mix of candid and posed photos by the fireplace. For the last half of the session we ventured outside. Once outside, it gave the kids a chance to really be themselves, which I loved!

Joelle + Family Portraits - Centennial Park
My fall mini sessions are now turning into winter sessions, but luckily the weather is still holding up, even if it is quite a bit colder. Joelle and her two children joined me for a session this past weekend and it was blast. Her son was pretty shy, but he warmed up to photos near then end!
Jake + Journee Portraits - Tree Farm
I really can’t wait to photograph Jake and Journee’s wedding in a couple years! It’s still a long way off, so I was happy when they asked me to do a portrait session with them. The session we did last year, also had snow on the same day. It all worked out though, as it make the tree farm even prettier.

Their son Noah, is so much bigger than the last time I saw him. He has so much personality now too. Plus, he’s great in photos! I’m looking forward to our next portrait session. By then, he’ll be running around!
Fort William Historical Park - Family Day 2020
It was such an amazing Family Day at Fort William Historical Park. Even though there were a lot of different events going on for Family Day throughout the city, we decided to spend most of our time at the park and it was well worth it. I couldn’t get over all the amazing activities that happened throughout the day. We spent about 3 hours walking around.

Of course the day was centred around activities for kids, but we still had a great time. Noah and Baylee got to shoot a musket, we did the ice maze of course there was the Ice Dragon Boats. I didn’t participate, but I captured some great photos. They also had a lot of animals out, fires throughout to warm up to and so many more things to see.
I’m already looking forward to next year, hopefully we can make it out!
