When we originally planned to do this family photo session is was earlier in the season. Well, it ended up working out for the best because doing it during Christmas meant I got the chance to visit Dao and Keith's beautiful house. This session was definitely a little Christmas themed as we started the shoot right beside their huge tree while sitting on the winding stair case.

It had been a while since I last saw Alisha and Derek, their wedding to be exact. Well, when Derek called me up to do a portrait session with him and his family I couldn't wait. The occasion this time around was his mom's birthday so what better reason then that! It was fitting that this particular session was once again at Centennial seeing as how I originally did the engagement session there as well.

When I was asked to cover the Unifor Rally Event here in Thunder Bay this past Friday I admittedly didn't know too much about it. It was a last minute request so I learned most of what it was about at the rally itself. Last year I had the pleasure of photographing Amy and David's wedding. It was such a blast. I then got to work with Amy on a gorgeous wedding album. Just as we were finishing that up she mentioned that she wanted to get some portrait photos while she was pregnant. Well, fast forward to last weekend and that is exactly what we did. The backdrop was Jumbo Gardens which is a not so well known place in Port Arthur. Even around this time of year with most of the colours gone, it is still a fantastic place to take photos. There are lots of nice trails and trees there.

Since I am photographing their wedding next summer, they wanted to take advantage of this great weather and some early photos for invitations.
