It was another great event put on by EcoSuperior and hosted by Sleeping Giant Brewery. A group of volunteers went out into the city to help make our areas cleaner and to also raise awareness. It was a very rainy day, but that didn’t hold anyone back.

EcoSuperior - Spring Up to Clean Up
I had a great time photographing the Spring Up to Clean Up event, down at City Hall, hosted by EcoSuperior. It’s a month long event that hopes to help keep our city clean, green, and beautiful! It was amazing to see all the volunteers come out to the launch event, but also sad to see to all the litter on the streets and back alleys. Hopefully this will help bring awareness to the situation, and of course, get people out to clean everything up!

One of my favourite events of the year took place this afternoon, The Craft Revival. It actually takes place twice a year, and this was the spring edition. Even though it doesn’t really feel like spring is here with all the snow we have been getting. Regardless, the weather did hold up and it ended up being the perfect day to walk around all the venues downtown.

Mike + Janelle Family Portraits + Surprise Birthday
One my recent portrait sessions was quite the unique one. It was a surprise birthday! The plan was to convince Janelle her husband Mike booked a family session. Which he did, and it was fun. At the end of the session, a limo picked up Janelle, which already had 3 of her best friends in it. She was then whisked away for a bit and I met them for another mini session down at the Marina before their dinner.

It’s been a couple years since the last time Wolfy’s Pond Cup took place, and I was so thankful it was on for this year. It is by far one my favourite events in Thunder Bay to photography. My session today with Tiffany and her family was absolutely perfect on all levels. It wasn’t too cold out, large fluffy snowflakes were falling down, and Tiffany and everyone else, were a blast to photography. Technically, I did photograph Brooke and Brandon’s wedding. I captured the hour after their wedding, at a friends home. Either way, I was so happy to be a part of their wedding day. DIY Studio
I joined my wife and her friend at the DIY Studio here in the Thunder Bay. I was just there to tag along and check it out. I of course brought my camera along with every intention of taking some photos while I hung with them. I’m so glad I did. It is such a great space and service they are offering. Plus, it’s a very relaxing atmosphere too.
