Tara + Family Portraits - Tree Farm

It has been over 4 years since my first session with Tara and her family. This time around we chose the Tree Farm, and she invited her extended family. We all had a great time!

Amy + Brad Family Portraits - Tree Farm

Anytime I get to photograph Amy, Brad and the rest of their family I get super excited. Well, this time around, they have a new puppy, Roxy. If I had my way, I would have just spent the whole time getting photos of her, but I promised to photograph the humans too. :)

As usual, it was great time with the family and I love how the photos turned out! I can’t believe how big the boys are getting too!

Kihannah + Alisha Engagement – Tree Farm

One of my favourite types of photo sessions, definitely has to be engagements. There is just a certain feeling of excitement in the air each time, similar to weddings. Kihannah and Alisha chose to do theirs at the Tree Farm. Unlike a family session I had a couple months earlier, this time around the mosquitos were nowhere to be found.

Overall it was a pretty relaxed session up until the last 5 minutes or so. Alisha decided to surprise Kihannah with a couple bottles of champagne. Suffice it to say, the last few photos were quite chaotic, which resulted in some truly memorable moments and reactions!

Kahla + Family Portrait Session - Tree Farm

My second of two mini-sessions at the Tree Farm this past weekend was with Kahla and her family. Having just photographed their wedding a couple months, I was super excited I got to do a portrait session with them. They are such a beautiful family.

Lisa + Family Portrait Session - Tree Farm

I still can’t believe how nice it was at the Tree Farm for my most recent mini sessions. It felt like summer. Hopefully this weather lasts a bit longer. Lisa and her family were such a pleasure to photograph. As always I got a good mix of posed photos and a few candids mixed in for good measure.

Nikolas + Family Portraits - Tree Farm

It wasn't easy, but Nikolas and his family managed to get his grandparents out for a quick portrait session at the Tree Farm. It was a very sweet and funny session. I did my best to get a smile out of his grandmother, and I succeeded a couple times. His grandfather had the best catchphrase too, responding with the occasional ‘oh brother!’ when asked to do something. All in all, good times out at the Tree Farm.

Tiffany + Family Portraits - Tree Farm

My session today with Tiffany and her family was absolutely perfect on all levels. It wasn’t too cold out, large fluffy snowflakes were falling down, and Tiffany and everyone else, were a blast to photography. They all had endless energy and it really did show in every photo I took. It definitely made my job super easy.

I’m hoping the weather warms up a bit, as I’m super excited to once again start up doing some outdoor sessions.
