Paula + Joe Family Portraits - Government Road
I was so glad the weather was once again nice for an outdoor family session. This time around I travelled out to Government Road to photograph Paula, Joe and their family. It was such a big and beautiful property. We came away with a nice mix of posed and candid photos.

Nathan + Family Portraits - Centennial Conservatory
For my recent family session were did a mix of indoors and outdoors. The location of choice was the Centennial Conservatory, which is one of the nicest indoor spots in town. After capturing some photos with the beautiful backdrop inside, we finished off with some nice winter shots in the snow outside.

It was a very snowy but extremely fun session this afternoon with Shannon and her family. It felt good to get out and capture some great moments with everyone!

U9 Westfort Maroons Hockey Session - Grandview Arena
My last hockey session of the year was with the amazing group of kids on the U9 Westfort Maroons. After capturing their portraits in the locker room we headed to the ice for the team photo and of course, some action shots during their practice. I got a lot of great moments!

Neebing U11A Hawks Hockey Session - Neebing Arena
It was time for another hockey session last night. The Neebing U11A Hawks were the stars of the show this time around. As usual, I captured a bunch of locker room portraits, the team photo on the ice, and of course, plenty of action shots during their practice.

Thunder Bay Beavers Hockey Session - Port Arthur Arena
My hockey session with the Thunder Bay Beavers a short while ago was the oldest team I have had the pleasure of photographing so far. It was a great time and I love how the on ice portraits turned out. It was a nice change from the locker room versions I usually do. With that being said, I love both styles. As usual, I captured a ton of candid photos as well as on ice action. It was a super fun session!

U13A Current River Comets - Grandview Arena
I had another fun hockey session, this time with the U13A Current River Comets at Grandview Arena. As usual, we go some amazing locker room portraits of each player. While waiting for the ice to be cleaned, I snapped a few locker room candids as well. This is definitely something I want to do more of if time permits. All in all it was a great session!

Biigtigong Youth Hockey Mentorship Program Day 1 - Marathon Recreation Complex
I had the pleasure of driving down to Marathon last weekend to photography a couple of hockey teams for the Biigtigong Youth Hockey Mentorship Program. It was such an amazing experience and I got to spend time with some amazing kids (and parents). Stay tuned for another post, showing highlight from the 2nd day as well.

ONWA Poetry Night 2022 - The Chanterelle
ONWA hosted their annual Poetry Night last month and it was the biggest one yet. I couldn’t believe how many people registered to attend. It was evening of amazing food, moving poetry and of course fantastic live performances.

Chelsea + Patrick Family Session
It’s been a while since I have done a home session with a couple. So it felt really good to visit Chelsea and Patrick today, and of course their kitty, for some nice authentic and candid photos. I’m still surprised it took me 5 minutes into the session to realize how big of a Bills fan Patrick was. We of course ended the session with their game watching outfits, which was just so perfect!
