Craft Revival 2021
It has taken quite a long time for things to get back to some kind of normal. Before COVID, we were spoiled with large events and gatherings. Fast forward to this past weekend, when Craft Revival (was revived) and took place once again. Even though it wasn’t as expansive as previous versions, it was still a huge success.
ONWA Poetry Night 2021
It’s been a couple years since the last ONWA Poetry Night, so I was very excited to be able to capture it once again. This year, it took place at The Chanterelle, which is one of the nicest locations in Thunder Bay, especially for an event like this.
Eden + Chris Family Portraits
My second session out at Eden and Chris’s house in the country was so much fun. This time around they had a new puppy and even some rabbits, which we took advantage of near the end of the shoot. It doesn’t get much cuter than that!
Kim + Jeffrey Family Portraits
It was my second time photographing Kim and her family. The last time being just under 3 years ago!
That last session was during winter so it was inside. Since winter isn’t quite here yet, we got some good weather and did it outside, which worked out perfectly. They have a huge backyard so there was a ton of beautiful space to work with. Plus we got to watch the dogs chase each other around!
ONWA's 50th Annual General Assembly - Best Western Plus Norwester Hotel
It’s been over 2 years since the last time I got the chance to attend and photograph ONWA's 50th Annual General Assembly. It’s such a great event and one that is filled with so many special moments.
Zora + Jamie Wedding
With wedding season winding down, one of my last ones of the year was with Zora and Jamie. It did not disappoint, and was filled with so many great moments. My day started at the Urban Abbey. I had shot a few events there in the past, but it was my first wedding. It really is a lovely location for a wedding.
Good + Co. Grand Opening
One of the most exciting openings in the Thunder Bay that I can remember took place recently. Part of the old Eaton’s Centre in downtown Port Arthur was converted into a huge space called Goods & Co. It hosts a whole bunch of local vendors and restaurants.
Jake + Journee Halloween Portraits - Cascades
Jake and Journee decided to dress up for their portrait session with me today at Cascades. They definitely went all out too, which made for fantastic looking photos. Plus, they even dressed up their son Noah, who was owning his costume like no other!
Sleeping Giant Brewing Company - Pop Up Store Intercity Mall
I had the pleasure of visiting the new Sleeping Giant Pop Up Store in Intercity Mall to capture some photos and video. I originally took photos and video a few years back when they were in a different location, but this is by far the best spot they have had in the mall. It looks 5 times bigger than the last one!
Rochelle Lee Corporate Headshots
Rochelle contacted me to help her get some updated photos for her website. She wanted a mix of candid and posed photos to be used for her business. We decided to brave the cool weather down at the marina, which was well worth it. She was super happy with how all the photos turned out. It was very fun and casual session, and I love helping local business owners create unique and engaging imagery for their websites.
Lindsay + Andrew Portrait Session - Centennial Park
After having to postpone our original session, we finally found a date that worked for everyone. I’m so happy we did, as it was such a pleasure to capture some fun moments with Lindsay and Andrew at Centennial Park.
Kaylee + Carter Portraits - Jumbo Gardens
I’ve been photographing Kaylee and Carter for over 6 years now. It’s amazing to see how fast they are growing up. Much to the dismay of Lincoln and Vicky, Carter is also talking non stop! But I guess he just has a lot to say. :)
Hannah + Chris Maternity Session
Chris decided to do the session at his grandparents’ property, which ended up being an absolutely amazing backdrop. I also got to meet their dog Indy, who reminded me so much of our dog Bea. Such a personality. As you would imagine, the photos turned out perfect, which is almost impossible when you a have a beautiful couple like Hannah and Chris.
Min + Brooke Family Portraits - Tree Farm
I’ve lost track how many times I have photographed Min and her family, and I’m so grateful for that. There is nothing more rewarding than capturing a family as they grow up.
Melanie + Family Portraits
As I mentioned before, I absolutely love extended family sessions. Melanie and her family joined me for a session at one of the local trails, which was the perfect backdrop for a some fall portraits.
Molly + Family Portraits - Centennial Park
It’s always great to get out and do a newborn session. Fall is still hanging on, so I was able to spend some time with Molly and her family at Centennial Park. They are such a beautiful family!
Skyler + Nikki Engagement Session - Trow Bridge Falls
One of my favourite type of photo session, is an engagement. They are always so much fun. With that being said, I had no idea what to expect for Skyler and Nikki’s session at Trow Bridge Falls. As it turns out, they had a lot in store. From the Halloween themed props, to their amazing outfits, and especially the smoke bombs. It made for one of the most memorable sessions I have ever had the pleasure of photographing. I really can’t wait until the wedding!
Cora + Family Portraits
It’s always great doing portraits for family. I still don’t know how we got so many dogs to pose for a photo like this? Luckily I took about 40 photos, and it was the last one that turned out! Good times.
Angela + Family Portraits - Tree Farm
Some highlights of my mini session with Angela and her family on Thanksgiving Day.
Hillary + Family Portraits - Tree Farm
Here are some highlights from my extremely fun mini session with Hillary and her extended family.
