One of my favourite families to photograph has got to be Makaila. I feel like I have grown up with Lucas over the years, ever since capturing his first birthday. He is now 5 years old, and has so much personality. It’s so nice to see. Plus, we are at the point now where everyone just shows up and we do the session, because of the comfort level. There isn’t much to say about my session with Heather, other than you can instantly tell who the star of the show was. Macy. Don’t get me wrong Heather and her whole family were great, but we pretty much followed around Macy the whole session, which I was completely fine with. Every portrait session is different each time. You just can’t plan exactly how things go. Especially when young kids are involved. You really can’t expect to spend a whole session trying to get little kids to pose for photos. Instead, as I do with almost every session, I just go with the flow. I often let the kids dictate where we go with a little big of guidance on my end of course.

Sarah Graduation Session
