Carly + Neil Portrait Session - Mission Marsh

I had the pleasure of photographing Carly and Neil’s wedding in Marathon, back in June. It was such a special day. It ended up being a bit rainy, so we decided to make a plan to extend the wedding for a bit, next time they were passing through Thunder Bay.

Ingrid + Vince Portraits - Mission Marsh

Ingrid and Vince had to postpone their wedding this summer due to the current situation, but that didn’t mean we still couldn’t do a portrait session. Which is exactly what we did, at Mission Marsh. As I was driving there, Ingrid told me she was setting up. I didn’t really know what to expect, but as you can see from the header image, it was amazing.

She had a whole antique setting overlooking Lake Superior and the Sleeping Giant. Even though it was extremely windy, we still made it work. They ended up being some of the most unique photos I have ever taken in recent memory. I can’t wait until the wedding.

We spent the rest of the session walking around a little and picking a few spots here and there to capture some more photos. Ingrid and Vince are extremely laid back and also very funny, with a great sense of humour. I had a great time!
