Melanie and Esker decided to do their most recent family session at the exact spot they got married a few years ago. This time around, they had one more addition to the family. It was a nice hot afternoon and a very fun and spontaneous session.

Melanie + Family Portraits - Tree Farm
It was a very fun session yesterday over at the Tree Farm with Melanie and her family. They brought their new puppy with them, which was awesome, and as you’d expect, he kind of stole the show. At the end of the session, I was able to get a few photos of him walking and smelling everything in site.

Melanie + Esker Newborn Session
Esker and Melanie recently welcomed their new daughter, Maeve, into the family. They weren’t planning on getting newborn photos done, but as soon as she arrived, they knew they had to. I get to do their wedding this coming September so I was super happy that I got to have a portrait session with them before then. Plus, I also got to meet Maeve, who might go down as the calmest baby I have ever met.

The session, of course, took place in their lovely new home. It was very casual and candid session, which is my favourite kind. At one point, Esker pulled out his guitar and sang a few songs which was very sweet. I simply can’t wait until the wedding later this year!
