Ingrid + Vince Wedding - Delta Hotels by Marriott
My second last wedding of the year was a family affair, which is was a nice change of pace. That doesn’t mean it was an easy day though. I still worked just as hard, if not harder, than my usual wedding days. With that being said, it was really nice knowing a lot of people at a wedding.

Ingrid and Vince decided to have their wedding at the always beautiful Delta Hotel right on the Marina waterfront. As with most weddings, my day started with the boys in their hotel room. They were pretty laid back which meant for a nice variety of candid moments. After I was done with them, I spent a lot more time with the ladies getting ready. Some of my favourite photos from the day took place during that time span.
I was then back with the guys outside, where we then made our way to the far end of the marina to get some portraits and eventually the first look. It wasn’t long before Ingrid and the rest of her crew walked from the hotel to meet us at the spot. I got in position and ended up getting some really special photos of the first look. Some smiles and happy tears.
We spent a bit of time after that, doing all the wedding party photos. After we were done there everyone headed back to the hotel to get ready for the ceremony. The ceremony itself was short and sweet, but filled with so much emotion. I think Vince cried more than Ingrid which was very sweet.
A short time later, once the room was done being turned over, the guests started to arrive for the reception. I love how the room looked and you could really see all the hard work and attention to detail that was put into it.
Ingrid, Vince and the wedding party all dressed up as Avengers for their wedding entrance, was quite the surprise for all the guests. It wasn’t so much the entrance that I enjoyed the most, it was all the photos I took as they were preparing. So much fun!
The rest of the reception went by very fast. The obvious highlight was the professional dancers Ingrid and Vince got to perform for the guests. They then both joined along with everyone else and the night of dancing was in full swing. Ingrid and Vince put on such an amazing wedding and I was glad to be a part of it.
Ingrid + Vince Portraits - Mission Marsh
Ingrid and Vince had to postpone their wedding this summer due to the current situation, but that didn’t mean we still couldn’t do a portrait session. Which is exactly what we did, at Mission Marsh. As I was driving there, Ingrid told me she was setting up. I didn’t really know what to expect, but as you can see from the header image, it was amazing.

She had a whole antique setting overlooking Lake Superior and the Sleeping Giant. Even though it was extremely windy, we still made it work. They ended up being some of the most unique photos I have ever taken in recent memory. I can’t wait until the wedding.
We spent the rest of the session walking around a little and picking a few spots here and there to capture some more photos. Ingrid and Vince are extremely laid back and also very funny, with a great sense of humour. I had a great time!
