Katelyn + Family Photos - FWFN
Here are some of my favourite photos from my recent session with Katelyn and her amazing family, who I have photographed so many times over the years. Always a great time!
Fort William First Nation Powwow - Canada Day Weekend
Here are some highlights from the FWFN Powwow that took place this past Canada Day weekend on Mount McKay.
FWFN Fall Powwow - Thunder Mountain Powwow Grounds
As part of Orange Shirt Day, FWFN hosted their annual Fall Powwow up on Thunder Mountain. It was a very special Powwow because September 30th is also now National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. It was such an amazing turnout and I was so thankful to be a part of it.
Debbie + Family Portraits

Mount McKay was the location for my portrait session with Debbie and her family. It was cloudy, which was perfect, as I’ve mentioned many times before. The kids were a bit hyper, but we came away with lots of great posed and candid photos. For the second part of the session, we met up again further down the street by the water. It was a sunny day which meant for a nice contrast for the photos taken the day before!

Matt + Family Portraits - Squaw Bay
My latest mini session was with Matt and his family at Squaw Bay . It’s located on Fort William First Nation, and really is a hidden gem. There is definitely a lot of room for improvement for the overall area, but the backdrop is simply one of the best in the city. Luckily, I had an equally beautiful family to capture.

Anytime kids are involved, it always adds a lot of spontaneity, which I actually love. It does it make it challenging, but it also provides many good opportunities for candid captures. We also managed to get everyone to stand still for a few seconds here and there for some posed photos too.
It was a cold but extremely fun session!
