Festival of Colours 2018

Summers are usually pretty busy for me with weddings and portraits so I’m not always able to make it to some of the local events here in Thunder Bay. Luckily, this year I was free to check out the Festival of Colours down at the Thunder Bay Marina. It is honestly the one event I look forward to most out of the whole year. What’s not to like? You have dancing, colours, unlimited energy and lots of great music.

As soon as I showed up you could feel the energy from everyone there. Suffice it to say, it was fairly easy to come away with some epic photos. This year, I also started getting into more and more video so you can find that below as well. I’m already looking forward to next years event!

This is a short video I shot while taking photos at this years Festival of Colours which took place in Thunder Bay. I just recently got into video so I was super excited to capture some of the event. It was an amazing turnout and I came away with some great footage and of course lots of good photos too.

Festival of Colours 2017

Since I missed last years Festival of Colours, I really wanted to try and see it this time around. The whole weekend was super busy with photography and Sunday was no exception. Anne and I managed to still go check it out for about 20 minutes and I was able to capture a few good moments.

If it happens again next year, and I'm available, I will definitely spend more time and come a bit more prepared. Until then, these photos will have to do. :)
