Sarah + Brad Family Portraits - Tree Farm
This was my second time photography Sarah and her beautiful family. I’m so glad they booked one of my mini sessions at the Tree Farm. The outfits that they all wore were so perfect for the setting we were in. I’m just in love with how the photos turned out!

Sarah + Brad Family Session
I absolutely love home family portrait sessions. They are always so natural and intimate. I really want to try and do more in the coming year. In any case, Sarah and Brad welcomed their newest addition to the family so it was the perfect excuse to get some updated family portraits. She wanted to keep it as candid as possible which is right up my alley.

We did the majority of the photos inside their absolutely beautiful house. There was so much natural light and nice little spots to capture moments. It made my life much easier. Plus Sarah, had some really good ideas in specific for spots to take advantage of. We finished up the session outside in the backyard. I got to officially meet Penny their super cute and hyper dog. Luckily she sat still for a couple quick photos. I also managed to get a few keepers of Arden dancing and jumping on the trampoline.
The hour went by extremely quick, but I’m so happy with how all the photos turned out!
Amy + Brad Family Portraits - Chippewa Park
I had the pleasure of photographing a new family a couple days ago at Chippewa Park. Amy, Brad, Jared and Beau were such an awesome family to photograph, I really hope I get to do it again next year. One of the main reasons I love family portrait sessions is admittedly the possibility of kids being present. They always have so much energy and emotion, and this session was no different.

I think Beau was a bit confused by me at first, as you can tell by the first photo. He was definitely sizing me up and determining if he was going to smile at all for that day. Luckily, it didn't take long for him to warm to me. Jared, on the other hand, was going from the minute they arrived. I didn't see him at first as I met Amy and Brad at their vehicle, but that was because he was already at the park running around. He didn't stop running the entire session. But, he did give me some good moments and poses throughout.
This time of year, Chippewa is always nice. The colours were out and the weather was decent. It was a bit chilly but it was actually kind of nice. I tried to keep the session moving at a good pace because I know kids don't have the longest attention span. I essentially let Jared lead the way for most of the session, or, at least make him think he was. :)
I couldn't have asked for a more fun family to spend an hour with!
